Le NATS va former les contrôleurs roumains ...
NATS, the UK’s leading air traffic management provider,
has won a contract to provide advanced training to Romanian air traffic
controllers.
The contract has been awarded by ROMATSA, the Romanian
air navigation service provider, and is the first of its kind between the two
organisations. It was won against
strong European competition and builds on NATS’ growing success within the
worldwide market. The first students will begin training at the end of the month
at NATS’ Training Centre at Hurn, Bournemouth.
Romania, which joined
the European Union on 1 January, is predicting strong growth in air
travel. A significant number of ROMATSA
air traffic controllers are undertaking advanced training in order to maximise
the safe and efficient use of airspace capacity to meet the predicted increase
in the number of flights. NATS has
significant experience in controlling large volumes of traffic in some of the
busiest and most complex airspace in the world.
